(Nashville, Tenn.) March 29, 2013 – Veteran singer/songwriter Geoff Moore embarks on a North American tour this Spring and Summer, featuring over 40 dates. The tour kicks off April 4th just outside of Knoxville TN at First Baptist Lenoir City. Geoff will be joining Chonda Pierce, the unrivaled “The Queen of Clean Comedy” on her “Girl Talk” tour for many of these dates, including a stop at the historic Ryman Auditorium on June 22.

Geoff is a multi-Grammy nominated and Dove Award winner who has been blessed with a career in music that spans nearly three decades. He’s toured the world, and sold over 1.5 million records. Fans of Geoff Moore are well versed in his musical catalog. While his recording and touring schedule may have slowed down slightly in recent years, his drive and passion that lead him to pursue a recording career are stronger than ever.

Fans can expect to hear Geoff perform songs that have been his standards over the years as well as new music from his 2011 release “Saying Grace”. Over most of Geoff’s career he’s performed live with his band The Distance, but in recent years Geoff’s live show has been an intimate acoustic setting. For these shows fans can expect a show where Geoff’s songs are a bit more raw and stripped down, allowing the audience to engage in the lyrics.

Geoff is proudly partnering with Compassion International for this tour. Through his 25 year relationship with Compassion, Geoff has been an advocate for the poor – both in his professional and personal lives.
